Project Details
Brankas Emas is an install-first gold portfolio PWA for Indonesian owners who want to compare purchase costs with present metal-value estimates for bars and jewelry. We built an Indonesian interface that brings holdings, reference prices, purchase records and gains into one collection view. The asset form offers 8 recognizable Indonesian brand or shop choices with logos and 14 weight presets, while custom inputs cover other sellers and measured jewelry weights. Each holding retains its own purity and expected selling deduction. Our implementation covered product design, the Go backend, database setup, private photo storage, offline behavior, automated checks and Coolify deployment configuration. The sample portfolio includes a 1-gram bar bought for Rp350,000 in 2015, clearly marked as illustrative data. This gives users a concrete way to understand the difference between their original cost and a current estimate without presenting the example as an actual customer result. Purchase dates remain available even after an asset is recorded as sold. The application serves embedded HTML, CSS and JavaScript from 1 Go process, with PostgreSQL storing account-owned records and a connection pool capped at 5. Weight uses integer milligrams, purity uses basis points and money uses whole rupiah. Gold-API supplies the gold spot reference, and ExchangeRate-API provides the USD/IDR conversion. A manual reference price provides an alternative when needed. Private SeaweedFS-compatible S3 objects hold normalized photos; authenticated application routes check asset ownership before returning an image. Local verification covered valuation, sales, CSV export, private photo operations and read-only offline holdings. Chrome reported 0 PWA installability errors in the checked profile, and visual checks covered 1440-pixel desktop and 390-pixel mobile layouts. We bounded concurrent work to 2 password hashes and 1 photo normalization task. The delivered repository includes a Dockerfile for Coolify and runtime environment guidance for existing PostgreSQL and S3 services. Production HTTPS, actual storage credentials and installation on physical devices remain deployment checks.
